Alena Cundiff

I have been a Board-Certified Family Practitioner since 2019. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing at Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX. I received my Certification from The American Nurses Credentialing Center. I have six years of experience as a registered nurse. I specialized in critical care. As a provider, I have two years of experience in family practice and urgent care.

I am passionate about advocating for patients and educating patients about their rights. I always felt strongly about my role as an advocate for patients. I am interested in health promotion and disease prevention in health care. It is my responsibility to encourage the patient to become knowledgeable and responsible for their care. I see the patient as a whole to be able to provide patients’ centered care.

After work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Spontaneous trips to the state parks or hiking in the mountains are always on my to-do list. Most of my weekends are spent out at a family ranch exploring nature.
