Lauren McCarron

My name is Lauren McCarron. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner and have been practicing for 8 yrs and a nurse for 16 yrs. I completed my undergraduate degree from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2007. My Masters of Nursing Science from University of Phoenix in 2011 and my post-Masters certificate from D’Youville College for Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014.

I started practicing as a nurse practitioner in 2014 and worked for a mobile primary care provider in Buffalo, NY. I moved to the Carolinas in 2014 where I obtained a job at CVS Health Minute Clinic as a provider. I’m elated to start my journey with Henry Meds and look forward to being able to treat patients all over the country.

People ask what drew me to medicine… the simple answer is caring for people. I realized early on in my nursing career that I wanted to actual make a change and not be limited to what the orders by I was given. That’s why I became a nurse practitioner so that I could be the change.

Fun Fact: I am the second child of thirteen. All are my products of 2 parents. I grew up in a 3 bedroom  ranch with only 1 bathroom on Long Island, NY. Lots of people to care for which made my career choice a given.
