Veronica Marshall
Nurse Practitioner
I have always had the motto to take care of those the way I would want my family cared for. This was my drive not only to begin my career in the healthcare field but to advance my career as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2004. After working as a Registered Nurse for four years, I decided to obtain my Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011. I have a diverse background of experience ranging from primary care services to psychiatry.
One important motto for self care which I live by is that you cannot pour from an empty cup. Taking care of oneself is of the utmost importance to provide balance both physically and mentally. One way I enjoy self care is having monthly massages and exercising four to five times per week. I also enjoy binge watching documentaries on Netflix and traveling with my husband and our three children.
