Project Description

Ernest Emery, FNP
Practitioner
As a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Ernest completed his graduate studies at Lewis University and the University of Pennsylvania. He started working in the medical field at the age of 18 at a Children’s Hospital, which lead him to be interested in adult and critical care medicine. With over 10 years of experience, he is passionate about patient care, teaching and providing health promotion and incorporating all available treatments that are evidence based and effective. With the start of the pandemic Ernest began working in telemedicine with psychiatric conditions and expanded to weight loss, substance use disorder and general health virtual visits.
Ernest is passionate about patient advocacy and rights including women health issues, LGBTQ+ and socioeconomical inequities and injustices. In his free time, he enjoys traveling around the world (usually cruises) and taking trips with his Weimaraner, Lola.
