Dr. Crystal Jacovino

Dr. Crystal Jacovino is a graduate of Cornell University. She obtained her medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine- Georgia Campus and completed both her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Dr. Jacovino started her career as an Associate Professor at the University of South Florida where she participated in clinical trials in the evaluation of therapeutics for Type 1 Diabetes, developed a multidisciplinary diabetes clinic, and taught the nutrition and human sexuality courses for the medical school and Internal Medicine residents. Dr. Jacovino went on to become Medical Director for Endocrinology of the BayCare Health System where she had developed specialty medication and remote glycemic protocols.
Dr. Jacovino is a member of the American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology, board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology by the the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Jacovino resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband and enjoys a very busy life of gymnastics and cheer with her two daughters. When she is not running around with her kids she loves to garden and swim at the beach.
