Greetings! I am Dr. Ryan Applegate, a dedicated, board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in endocrinology, obesity, and access to care. With over a decade of experience, I'm committed to delivering specialized care tailored to your unique needs.

Driven by a passion for improving lives and dealing with a chronic medical condition personally, I embarked on a journey of continuous learning, earning a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Iowa in 2012 before pursuing my Doctor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2022. My dedication to advancing healthcare extends beyond the clinic, as evidenced by my active involvement in diabetes and obesity research.

Embracing the principles of accessible healthcare, I've been privileged to assist thousands of patients through telehealth, empowering them to manage their conditions remotely. Outside of medicine, you'll often find me engaging in activities like pickleball, hiking a scenic trail, or simply enjoying the great outdoors with my beloved Italian Greyhound. I firmly believe in the transformative power of holistic well-being to optimize overall health and vitality.
